Admin,
The 9th annual ladies conference of Melchizedek Church, Bold and Beautiful was like a breath of fresh air. It was pleasant to hear a lot of positive feedback, from the visitors, guests and the team of ministers serving throughout the event. Pastor Olga Muzichuk, the founder of the Designed to Impact ministry, was the organizer and the main speaker of this conference. She opened up the conference with such words, “God, whom we serve, is a great and perfect God. When I see a woman, I see God in her, because He is the one who reveals the beauty that was embedded into her being from the very beginning.” The purpose of the conference was for every lady to see who she is in God, as well as to be renewed in His presence so each one could boldly move forward and live the life that God has predestined for her.
The conference was enriched by the participation of the guest speakers from Kiev, Ukraine - Svetlana Spivakova, business lady and talk show host of “Recipes of a Woman’s Happiness” and Vera Kasevich, pastor of Dynamo Church, as well as young Allyson Rowe, founder of Kingdom Crowned Ministries. Many guests visited from other states, and some traveled from overseas.
It was pleasant to walk into a renovated building, where the elegant design was both practical and comfortable. Two weeks prior to the conference, a team of volunteers worked diligently night and day building and renovating to achieve the ideas that were planned out throughout the year. Much painstaking labor went into the process, but not without the reward of creating the pleasant and warm atmosphere.
This was the second year when the conference lasted 3 days. On the first evening, pastor Vera Kasevich shared the word and her testimony of how God restored her with His love as a lady, a mother and a minister. “God takes our stories and turns them into testimonies”, were her encouraging words of hope for every lady.
I cannot overlook the fact that this year the worship team delighted everyone with their original songs, one of which was recorded in the studio and is currently being edited. This is a new level and we are truly overjoyed by this achievement.
The second day of the conference started out with practical seminars. The speakers shared biblical principles as well as personal experiences for raising children, having a healthy relationship with their husband, resolving conflicts and being influential in the community. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming with fresh aroma of morning coffee being shared among friends, which gave a boost of energy and strength for the rest of the day.
Later that day, more than 30 ladies took part in a luncheon for wives of pastors, whose husbands minister in different parts of the world. After the luncheon ladies agreed to meet at least once a year for fellowship and an exchange of the knowledge and experience.
The evening service was marked by such a strong and tangible presence of God, few remained indifferent. Many ladies testified right after the service about healings and personal encounters and experiences. Svetlana Spivakova, a truly fascinating lady, through her sermon showed the beauty of a lady who remains in God’s word, regardless what challenges and hardships she faces in her life. The Live Arts Ministry also delighted the crowd with their artistic, original performance. It was exquisite and inspirational!
The third and final day was abundant with diverse and wide-ranging programs for all ages. Pre-teen girls (ages 8-12) spent the entire day in a separate room enjoying a program that was exclusively prepared just for their age group, where they were able to soak in the love of God and be encouraged. Beside spiritual nourishment, they were lavished with a celebration for their soul and body, including delicious food and hand-made gifts. The youth spent time with Allyson Rowe, not missing a beat with a fun and memorable talk show where their curiosity was satisfied with open, honest and educational answers to their deepest questions.
Ladies enjoyed themselves to the fullest, their hearty program including seminars, a talk show, and games with prizes, exquisite jewelry that was impeccably chosen to fit the style of every modern lady. And this is just a small part of the Heart to Heart program. It would be impossible to describe every delicate detail of this luxurious affair, the decadent sweets passed out at the sound of a saxophone, the entertaining performances and the regale of all types of delicacies indulged to the sound of a live jazz band. This was a celebration for the soul! “They know the secrets of God’s kingdom,” noted Ms. Spivakova with a smile. What a pleasure it is to create an atmosphere for spiritual growth and relaxation of the feminine soul.
During the concluding service, pastor Olga Muzichuk shared the word about the calling of every woman. Many came out for prayer of dedication to be one of those “who proclaim the word.” It brings us great joy, because to raise up a great multitude of strong and bold women who will proclaim the glory of God and influence their surrounding is precisely the purpose of every woman, and the mission of Pastor Olga and the Designed to Impact ministry.
Next year will be our 10th annual conference, an anniversary and a great celebration in March 2017. I hope to see you there!
