Admin, Pastor, what should I do if I know a person who comes to church and deliberately sins? Do we ban him from church (hand him over to Satan) or leave him alone, waiting for Holy Spirit to do His work? Pastor's Answer: While we are here on earth, we will always have people in our churches who deliberately sin. Apostle Paul handed only those people over to Satan, who blasphemed against their own salvation (1 Corinthians 5:5 NIV). But what if this person does not blaspheme? If this person is a leader at the church and is causing problems to other church-goers, then this issue cannot be ignored. There needs to be a certain action – whether help or open rebuke, to resolve it. May God grant you wisdom to make the right decision.
