Then I saw that wisdom excels folly
As light excels darkness. (Ecclesiastes 2:13)
You might say: "Well this is obvious." That's right - foolishness does not compare with wisdom. Participation with foolishness is ridicule but greatness follows wisdom. Also, it is clear that, extra words are not necessary to say that it is better to work in the light than sit in the dark. One scary thing that I remember from my childhood, the electricity would shut off pretty often. Sometimes even water... LOL!
So I always wonder why Solomon wrote such words and presented them as wisdom. And today I understood!
But, you know, not everyone thinks this way! Have you ever noticed that specifically foolishness has been preached everywhere as an integral part of life; all you have to do enjoy today in a way as if there is no tomorrow! I hope you heard about how the darkness supports the laws and commands us and our children to: "respect homosexuality - it is normal!" or "Abortion is not murder!" But here is a statement of our president: "The roots of Islam is in the United States" (I am conveying the message with my own words).
It makes one want to use the slogan of Gennadiy Mohnenko: "Sick!" Can it be possible that the darkness is better than light? And is it possible that foolishness is better than God's wisdom?!
Christians! Followers of our God -cast your vote!
Slavic Voice reminds you some statistics, which show that no more than 12% Christians vote!
This is why the darkness seems better to our youth, teens, and our children!
Today, November 6, 2012 is the essential and decisive day for ours and our children's good. Today is the day to vote. Let's not take the foolish stand like king Hezekiah did when Isaiah told him about the upcoming punishment for his foolish acts:
For the king was thinking, “At least there will be peace and security during my lifetime." (2 Kings 20:19)
